Acquisition and repositioning with £15m investment earmarked to create luxury destination
Mar Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa Resort, one of Scotland’s most established hotels, has been acquired by Dubai-based Dutco Group, supported by investment and asset management firm, Align Partners. A £15million investment package has been committed to expand and upgrade the property, repositioning it as an international destination.

Mar Hall Hotel, Golf & Spa Resort has secured planning permission to develop 30 luxurious woodland lodges, with completion anticipated in spring 2025. This ambitious project will transform the resort’s 240-acre estate, further establishing Mar Hall as one of Scotland’s premier resort destinations.

With a multi-million-pound renovation underway, Align Partners, on behalf of Dutco, continues the repositioning of Mar Hall Hotel, Golf & Spa Resort into a luxury five-star Scottish destination with the appointment of a new Head Greenkeeper and Head of Golf to manage its championship 18-hole golf course.
