With spectacular views of the River Clyde and the Kilpatrick Hills, the new 18-hole Earl of Mar championship golf course at Mar Hall offers a five star golf experience conveniently located only ten minutes from Glasgow Airport.

Extending to over 6,500 yards, the par 70 Earl of Mar course was designed by respected golf course architect and PGA professional, Dave Thomas. His goal was to create a course that would appeal to golfers of all levels and already the Earl of Mar gives the impression of a long-established course with mature trees and strategically placed bunkers providing a challenge throughout your round.

Golf at Mar Hall has all the attributes of a private members’ club experience, with 10-minute tee times, and a bag drop facility.

The Par 70, Dave Thomas design places an emphasis on well positioned tee shots and demands accurate iron shots to the subtle sloping greens, fairways meandering around 250 year old sweet chestnut and beach trees with well positioned bunkers allows for a challenging but fair round of golf.  Set at the foot of the Kilpatrick Hills and on the banks of the River Clyde we are only 20 minutes from Glasgow City Centre but a world away.
